Recommend a Cell Phone?

I have held out against using a cell phone for a long while but finally decided that i need one for emergencies and short calls. But there are soooooo many options out there and to a complete phone novice like my self it information overload.

So here is what i need!

--GTA (Greater Toronto Area) service
--Cell phone for emergencies and short calls (prolly something like 100 anytime minutes a month)
--Not too pricey (C$100 max)
--Good reception and small size ofcourse
--Dont need to many features etc

IF you're just using it for emergency calls just something that's free and small would be fine. Actually something free and big would be better so you don't lose it.

There are no free phones with the cheaper alternatives. I figure due to my low usage i prolly should go with one of those pay as u go programs but unfortunately none of them offer a free phone (which come only with monthly programs when u sign 1 yaer contract or more)
