I currently have a pinnacle bungee dvd capture device. The software that comes with it is brutal unstable, crashes all the time, and is very cubersome to use. Also the format is some form of compressed mpeg and most video editing programs really don't seem to like this format.
Can someone recommend a half decent capture device, either a card or usb device? As long as it can do VHS quality it's good enough I don't need HD or anything, though of course it would be nice but I probably wont use it for anything other then capture from a VCR or video camera.

But it does also do mpeg, so I'm a bit weary, also the price seems too good to be true. Anyone have experience with that particular card?
