I built my house about 6 months ago... I wired it with Cat-6 throughout the house. I have a cabinet in the garage (where all the homeruns go to) I'm now ready to get wired up and I need some recommendations on a Good reliable (but not TERRIBLY expensive) switch.
I have a Microsoft MN-100 routing my cable Internet, so that will take up 1 port on the switch. I have 15 drops throughout the house to take up the other 15, so It'll be a full Switch. :D

I'm looking at: (all prices are NewEgg)
Netgear GS116 - $289
Netgear GS516T - $347
D-Link DGS-1016D - $315
LinkSys SR2016 - $330

Any comments on any of the above mentioned switches? Any comments on any other switches?

Please, 16 port switches only. I don't want to do any piggybacking.

Thanks in advance! :)

[edit]Added LinkSys model to list. Looks like a good one. [/edit]

Whatever you buy be careful, some of the cheap Giga Switches do not support Jumbo Frames.

The above SMC is questionable their 8 ports switch support Jumbo the 16 ports might Not.

In addition 2 x 8 ports SMC858T is less expensive than One unit of 16 ports. However 2x8 yields only 14port (two get lost for the uplink).
