Recommed the best wireless router home LAN setup.

I am finally moving to my own home in 2 months. I am totally unconcerned with security since the house is in the middle of a 15 acre parcel of land, so no one is going to be stealing my wireless connection (unless the squirrels have PDAs). I want the best range, easiest to use (that's the most important) wireless router. I looked at the D-Link 624 Super G 108 Mbps router which seems to be on sale everywhere for around $54, but it gets slammed in all the reviews and seems to have a lot of problems.

I can't really speak for which is best, as I only have experience with one... But I have zero complaints with my MS MN-700 router and MN-730 PCI card.

What standard is it, what is the range? I am looking only for G standard with a minimum of 54 Mbps with a good range (at least 50m).

I actually have no problems with the Dlink 624, and I got it for really cheap. Of course, if you want it to work easily, you also need a Dlink network card in your laptop. Otherwise its a pain in the rear.

Yes I believe Linksys and Net Gear both have 108mbps models too. Of course you will need thier proprietary Wireless cards to get Super G

EDIT: Here are the links from Best buy so you can atleast see the specs

Netgear WGT624

Linksys Speed Booster WRT54GS

I probably wouldn't want to get them from best buy though as they are a rip off...

Not any kind of "Super G", but I've had very good luck with my Linksys WRT54G... Have the router placed in a 2nd story room at one end of the house, and without any additional antennas I get good signal strength throughout the house and outside as far as across the street. Could likely do even better with higher gain antennas. There's also unofficial firmware available that will allow you to increase the signal output (and add other spiffy features), should you desire.
