Recommed SSD for External Storage

As per the title, which SSD is recommended as external storage via USB3.0 to SATA adapter?

Capacity in range of 480GB to 1 TB.
 
Price range?
You can usually use any SSD, but, you still need to do some backups, and also don't leave the SSD unpowered for long periods of time.
