recommed me a good router

I think it is the 54g one and version 4.

I have the linksys wrt54g v5. It fufills its function perfectly (as compared to my older router which would constantly drop my wired connection (old router was a Netgear MR814v2)) and it was easy to set up.

The 54g models had "issues", but it seemed to be completely random. I have a DI-524 from D-Link, works perfectly, although it's a bit light on the features and customizing.

I built my own router out of an old PC and use freesco for the software.

Its been good to me for a long time.

Bleh, I haven't had any luck with economical routers and honestly, I don't understand why they can't seem to make a reliable router at an economical cost. It really doesn't seem like rocket science to me. I'm using a D-Link right now but it functions more as a switch than a router; it's nearly useless.
