I have a D-Link DI-624 wireless AP router and it gives me constant disconnection in every 10 minutes. IM planning to buy a new one and anyone can tell me a decent one? Price doesnt matter.

You sure it's your router? I've got two of those deployed on two 20 person networks and haven't had to reboot them in over 6 months.

when people spend 2-300 for a video card I don't think it is too costly for home users. plus it will last for years.

Not really. Home stuff is actually the least of my knowledge.

I have to agree with spidey here. The 350s are superb, will last forever and do evderything you would need. Linksys has a very good wireless router too.

People spend hundreds of dollars already upgrading their PCs. There are several 350s on eBay right now all for around 70-100 bucks. And a used 350 is as good as anything out of a big box electronics store.

On a serious Note it is a good stable Router.

Less expensive and very good is this: http://www.buffalotech.com/products/product-detail.php?productid=79&categoryid=6

On the other hand for $15 after rebate this is a good unit too:

As an aside, the OP was asking for a wireless router. At least I think he was specific to a device that could route. While the 350 series is a superb AP, it does not route. Frankly I think the 350's with the old firmware with the easy to navigate number menu system was the zenith of Cisco's wireless gear. Pre-security issues by and large is the disclaimer there. Firware sort of updated that but it is still just .11b. Coverage for days though with the 100mW radios and excellent receive sensitivity. But again, you'd need to have a seperate NAT device to route on a home LAN.

I do agree however that a used 350 on ebay wouldn't/shouldn't be that expensive. Not for someone that coverage is a premium. 11Mb CCK coverage mind you.

LOL.

So the avarge guy has a Dual Core Double CPUs.

2 GB of water cooled RAM.😀

Runing with $600 SLI PCI express Graphic cards.😎

A tripple double RAID SATA with Fluid Bearing three 320GB expensive drives.

2Kilowatt Power Supply that has 100Amp on the 12V rail.:cookie:

With 120 Blue/Red/Green/White LEDS all flashing in Sync.

And you want guys like this to use 802.11b.
