Recomended Mobo & PSU?

now that the CNPS9500 is out (n hadda make sure it got good enough reviews to buy) i wanna finish building my gaming rig

i only have mobo n psu left on my list
have rest of the stuff picked out

going to put 4800+, 7800GTX into it

a soc939 sli board

im on no budget

well zalman hasn't reported any known motherboards that is incompatible with the sink. something like the 9500 would mean you're probably going to do some overclocking and should get a dfi ultra, but you already buying a 4800. so basically i dont see a real reason to buy one since the stock heatsink will keep it cool enough.

Even if you don't want SLI, you can make use of the second SLI slot for a nice PCIe SAS/SATA RAID HBA.

Great PSU. but if you want something with more beef, (as in no need to replace in the next 5 years) get a PC Power and cooling 850w

I just bought an OCZ 520W Modstream power supply. I am very happy with it. It is ultra quiet and peaks a 600W and rated for 520W constant. That is the opposite of how many companies advertise thier PSUs. Many advertise the Peak output and not the constant. That alone is refreshing!

Other than that it is well made, looks pretty darn kewl and the cabling is wrapped in braided metal with an outer plastic covering.

Only con.... the cables are stiff as heck.

Price on this was comparable with many mid priced Powersupplies.

That is true. When referring to companies who advertise thier peak wattages I was obviously referring to the usually inferior ones who are purposely trying to mislead consumers.
