Not a proper audiophile, not interested in spending serious moneyon them either, looking for something in the <£50 range (for you yanks call it <$90). That's an upper limmit rather than a goal.

Planned use will probably just be for music and gaming.

So any susggestions and what should i be looking for in a set of phones?
 
Sorry, these won't be leaving the room so i can put up with some massive ones if there is a good reason for them to be of any real size.

I dunno, think closed would be the way forward, isolating headphones i think?

is your room really so loud that you need that level of isolation? generally i prefer open headphones, closed makes me paranoid for one..and its harder to make good sounding closed headphones anyways. supposedly since hd590 are being replaced by new model they are cheap(relatively) at 150 these days..came out at 300😛 so outa ur budget but its damn good..and comfortable

My HD-280s are big and closed. I like them a lot.
