Recomend me a laptop cooler...

As the topic says it's for a Dell Inspiron 6400. The laptop has 1 gig of 533mhz RAM, Core Duo Processor @ 1.83 Ghz and an ATI x1300 w/ 128mb hypermemory.

It's used primarily for watching movies and word processing/net surfing. Occasionally it will get semi-heavy gaming use.

I would like the cooler to cost no more than $35 shipped. Let me know what you guys think would be good. I'll edit this post with dimensions when I get home.

Also, if it could lift the laptop up at an angle a bit that would be awesome, since sometimes it will be sitting on a cushioned surface.

id opt for no coooler, stock cooling should be fine for that light of duty on that machine, but if you want one anyway, take a lookie here

I got a Yate Loon laptop cooler off eBay for less than $18 shipped. It keeps my 600M cooler by almost 10F.

What do you think is better: pulling air off the bottom of the laptop or blowing air onto the bottom?

Bottom cooling is more direct.

you'd want something that blows air directly to the bottom. pulling air doesn't work at all.
I'd recommend something from vantec, coolmaster or antec.

Pulling air is ineffective, and I honestly have no idea why they continue to manufacture them this way.
