GIGABIT ROUTER!
I have 2 PC's
One is an HTPC with an NF4 mobo that has a built-in gigabit network adapter
My 2nd PC is my backup rig with an Abit IC7 Max3 mobo and has a built-in gigabit adapter.
This configuration eliminates the need of having to purchase a gigabit switch to enable a gigabit network, saving you anywhere from $40-$70 since its built right into the router. Even if you don't have a gigabit adapter built into your mobo you could always get an add-in card for like $25 or so.
Transferring huge files like recorded shows, downloads, etc... on a gigabit network is EXTREMELY FASSSTTT! Once you use gigabit, you can't go back to 100mb/s
The wireless signal is amazing...... I sometimes let my friend who lives about 3 houses down from connect to my wireless and the signal strength is very strong. The antennae is larger than most and give excellent range. That and it supports 108G. And did I forget to mention how sweet this thing looks!
Since your upgrading to a new router, why not pickup this one up since in the future most mobos will have gigabit built in, making it nice and fast for a home or work network and future proofing your setup.
