recoding from computer to vcr comes out black and white, please help

hi all,

I would like to record straight from the computer to a VCR, since im in a country that uses PAL system i moved the NTSC to PAL on the computer but still come out black and white, would like to know if there is anything else i can do. I have an Asus 9600XT any help would be great
