I enjoy cooking and eating good food. With the internet it's so easy to search for recipes and cook. But finding a good recipe is still hard. Nothing is more frustrating than spending time and money on ingredients and cook only to discover the final product is terrible due to a bad recipe. So I thought I start this thread so people can post recipes they had success with and liked.

I'm in mood for pasta so I'll start with one of my favorite Mario Batali recipe.

Spaghetti with Clams and Mussels: Spaghetti con Vongole e Cozze

I've made this many times and it's always delicious. It's super easy and quick too. I substitute Manila clams with longneck clams or leave it out if I don't any clams.

me and my girlfriend both enjoy cooking, sadly writing down the recipes we used arent our strong point. Recently we went to Trader Joes for the first time and were very impressed. We are currently in the process of trying as many unique things there as possible on our limited budget. We are also cheese lovers

Chorizo/Manchego quesadilla.. You have to really like chorizo, as when you cook the juices leak out of the sausage and soak into the cheese/tortilla.. Makes it a cheesy tasty meal.

Sicilian Steak, basically a breaded,slightly cheesy steak. Extremely tasty, though cant pretend its the healthiest.

Chicken Kiev.. you can either roll it up or leave it flat, it seemed to cook a bit better flat.

I had it once about 7 years ago and i still remember how tasty it was.

also we are looking for a pot roast recipe if anyone has any exceptionally good ones. Just bought some roast meat today, was on sale.
