recipe for whiskey mix (or whatever this title is supposed to be)

i recently got a fine bottle of whiskey (or so my friend claimed)
he mentioned that i should either mix it with sprite or orange juice, which will give me a nice dose of drunks and throw ups

so ... anybody have good recipe for whiskey mix?

and btw, i know the bottle said "whisky", but i learned that the correct spelling as "whiskey" back in school, so i'll stick with that

If it's GOOD whiskey, drink it neat or on the rocks. Otherwise, you can mix it with Coke or 7up.

get lemon juice mix and make whisky sour. Can also use Hawaiin punch to mix

not sure about the brand... but the bottle says it's 12 years old...
but if it's produced, say, last year, wouldn't it make the whiskey 13 years old? or it stays that way?
