BTW this is confirmed also, the board does indeed have a multiplier option in the BIOS.

A retailer here has Asus "preferred" status. Whatever that means
I was there when he got the call confirming the delivery.
He's just getting 10 boards. I reserved one of them. He said 6 were already sold besides mine.
I'm getting my memory from Crucial.

I don't think that you'll be able to modify the multiplier settings in bios and there is no hardware dip switch bank.
