bah!! I would not allow them to get away with not paying for shipping your bad card back. Why should any of us pay one red cent to fix their screw-ups? That is what I mean when I say they have not admitted the problem...they need to say "Our packaging of these boards was not what it should have been, we apologize for any inconvenience this has caused our customers. We will pay for you to ship your defective board back to DFI. Thank you for your patronage of our products."

Good news is, they are paying for 2day shipping. I'm sending it out tomorrow.
I'm pretty happy with the service, I had to do a little bit of bitching.. and I got some RMA emails bounced back to me initially, but oh well.
I was a longtime Abit fan, and DFI is a great transition for me to move from Abit to.
Considering they have that famous engineer Oskar Wu now.
I think this might be the beginning of a beautiful relationship.
