I've had identity theft in the past. In order to minimize this problem, I've used a rechargable credit/debit card bought in a grocery store for Internet purchases. I'll only put enough money on it for a purchase so fraud isn't a big problem. I've used one with the name Paypower on it for a year, but I've had too many problems with them. When a credit is recieved, Paypower locks up the account for awhile making card use impossible. They even lock the account saying it is frozen and you can't touch that money while at the same time taking that money out themselves and using it to pay their service charges. I need a new easily charged credit/debit card.

It should be a Visa or Mastercard that can be checked online. It should be easy to add money and be good for international purchases. Many cards bought at grocery stores are for US purchases only.

I'd reccomend staying away from Paypower of Metabank with offices located in Pleasanton, CA.

Could someone reccomend a good card? Thanks for any advice.

I think it would be hard to find a big co that does prepaid debit-credit cards that would work internationally due to problems with fraud. Maybe you could find something that would work in US-UK-EU - I don't know of any yet.
