So I'm shopping for a new motherboard and have noticed that Newegg now sells "recertified" stuff, now is this the same as their old refurb stuff, or now do they actually send them back to manufacturer and have it repaired/purchased new stock from manufacturer?

I'm a little iffy buying stuff like that from them.

Sounds like their refurbed stuff.

Really you should check with the egg to be sure.

IMHO, I wouldn't touch it.

I bought a video card refurbished.... worked just fine. I don't even remember which one it is, but it hasn't broken or anything. :p

Yeah, why would anybody pay shipping plus restocking fee penalty for non-broken thing?

refurbished means that it passed the recertification tests. Doesn't do much for intermittent or heat related problems.
