Recently switched to BofA ... keep my commerce account?

So ... I've had commerce bank (Great hours, etc.) for years now. recently switched to bank of america... even though they have more fees, and less hours, I like their online banking and location availabililty a lot better.

My commerce account has the base amount in it right now ($100) just to keep it open without fees. Commerce is good because they are open till 8 pm every night if I need to cash a check or something like that....

But I'm now wondering whether I should keep this account open just for that purpose, since now that I have a job I don't need to cash checks right away (especially with direct deposit).

Recommendations? 🙂 Do people here have two checking accounts? Any other benefits to that I'm missing?
