recently graduated ppl, do u miss school

i just got out of grad school and am doing good interesting work

but i do miss school, the kinda variety (of courses) and projects you have is awsome


industry is good too and its a good learning experienced but its focussed and specialized


do you miss the learning experience of school?
 
sometimes. but....not really. im going back to visit soon, for the first time since i left. so...im sure ill miss it after.

Of course the fact that I'm a graduate w/o a paying job doesn't help matters much. 😕
 
My job is boring. I actually miss doing school work. I work well in a structured atmosphere like school. My current job is too open ended and "do your own thing." I'm drowning here!

If I could make money doing what I did in engineering school, I'd be happy.

I am now working not as hard at work (compared to college) and I get paid! I couldn't wait to graduate from college...
 
no, I don't make jack dicking around in school. I drove a sh*tty car in school cause I had no money. Working and having a semi decent car makes me want to work even harder to buy a freakin porsche or something.

Also there were no girls in my major, but at work I have hot fobby girls flirting with me that they'd marry me just so they could stay in the US.

It isn't about your major. Go hook up with some other random bird somewhere! Through a friend, club, bookstore, starbucks etc.......

Not a recent graduate but I do miss school and the thrill of a new semester and new courses to take. The only good thing about working is the money. It's nice being able to buy things.
