I recently bought Lenovo All In One A720, specs are quite powerful, but it has weak Video Card - GT 630M, as it appears, my previous computer had better video card and I have no use for that computer right now, it has GTS 450.
So what I want help with? - this lenovo A720 all in one has HDMI-IN and HDMI-OUT ports. so I want to connect my previous PC Rig onto this one and use it as monitor so this way when I want to play games I just push one button on my screen and it changes to HDMI port. what I want help with again if I know all this? - I dont know if its gonna work, this lenovo all in one has built in speakers, does HDMI cable make use of speakers? or will I have to put speakers for my PC Gaming RIG?? and what HDMI Cable do you recommend for gaming ??

DONT KNOW IF THIS IS CORRECT Thread.. sorrry if its not ...

please answer me as fast as possible ... Thanks

HDMI carries audio, so I would assume lenovo made it so that if you switch to the HDMI in, that it should display audio and video.

As for which HDMI cable, any cable that supports 1.4 (ie: all of them for the most part) should be perfectly fine. do NOT waste money on an expensive cable. It is a digital signal, not analog. So heavy shielding and such is not required.
