Recent paper jams - HP LaserJet4m+

Entity

Lifer
Recently the paper has started jamming on every single print job on our HP LaserJet4m. I heard there might be a kit to fix this, but haven't found anything for the 4m+ specifically -- does anyone have any recommendations?

Where is it jaming...paper tray or in the path? You can try and clean the rollers that pick up the paper with isopropyl alcohol. After lots of use the rollers can get a layer of 'paper dust' on them that you can get rid of with the alcohol and a wipe...and it gets the rollers back to their original 'stickyness'

I wouldn't recommend you use alcohol. Orange oil-based rubber restorer will work much better.

"WHY does it say paper jam when there IS no paper jam!?!" Sorry, couldn't resist. 😛 I've also heard that automatic transmission fluid is good at reconditioning rubber.
