Been using Opera for the past 6 years and after installing Windows 7, I wanted to give Firefox a chance and I'm hooked.

Things I like:
-Gmail formats better
-Facebook formats better
-Right click on google maps works
-Dont get sent to WAP version of some sites (kfc, tacobell)
-thru jus a couple of extensions, my favorite Opera features now in FF (paste and go, letter searches, middle clicking tab/tab bar, undo tab close)
-supernova flash videos go to fullscreen
-sometimes, when clicking through pictures in facebook albums, I get sent back to pic 1/60 when i was only at perhaps 37/60

and a few more that aren't coming to mind right now.

Opera's my second favorite browser, but I like Firefox much more. Opera's faster, but the customization wins the day for me.

What does this mean?

Firefox always had much better customization than Opera but what always pissed me off was that I needed about 5 plugins just to get the same basic function as Opera. Now that I keep Firefox as a portable app on a USB drive, it doesn't bother me so much. firefox portable.

those letter searches are when you type the letter "g" for google in the URL area followed by a space and then the search query.

You can do other searches too like, wikipedia (w), amazon (z), yahoo (y), etc

In both browsers, you make these by right clicking on a search box and selecting "add a keyword for this search". I have lots of these custom searches in both browsers. If I type in "wiki firefox" it takes me here. Or "tube8 tranny" takes me to....:p

i use firefox because of the extensions...
and chrome for gmail and stuff.
as for undo close tab, tabsmixplus keeps a list of recently closed tabs. ctrl shift t reloads last closed tab.
