Anyone heard of a recent virus that causes your computer to not be able to find your primary drive when booting up? (boot sector vrus I'm guessing)
A friend of mine had this exact same problem earlier this week, which is why I'm thinking it's a virus of some kind...
I turned off my computer last night and when turning it back on it won't boot, it will ask for a boot disk, if you try to boot from the windows CD and try to repair, it will say there is no hard drive connected to the machine.
As I said, it's not just me but a friend as well... I can't seem to find anything on the net about this issue, anyone caught wind of anything like this?
