Hello everyone,

We have an Exchange server setup in house that currently servers as an inside e-mail server as well as doing group calendaring. We would like to move our e-mail completely in-house, but are running into a few obstables. We have NOT moved over our MX records from our host, but have been trying to do testing by sending e-mails to 'user@ipadress' (ie. bob@255.213.32.134). I think exchange is only automatically set to receive e-mails to its FQDN. Our inside domain name is, however, different from our website domain. (ie. our company is company.org, our domain is called cbc.org). I have all the routing setup correctly in the router etc... It appears that the mail is hitting the Exchange server, but then getting rejected, as I AM getting bouncebacks from 'ip255.232.235.123.linkline.com' or something along those lines, which is our IP and service provider.

Can someone shed some light or post an article on how to make this happen?
Thanks so much in advance!

Dave
