Receiving DOUBLE MESSAGES in Outlook Express. HELP!

I have Windows XP Pro on two machines on a network. Both computers use ICS for internet sharing with dialup. I use a Linksys router as a switch between the two comps. Even though I highly doubt this has anything to do with my problem, here it is:

Problem:

I use Outlook Express. The only account I use with Outlook Express is hotmail. When I log in to hotmail manually, I have 1 copy of each message. When I open my hotmail account via Outlook Express, Outlook Express pulls in an extra copy of every email I receive. I get two of EVERY EMAIL. It is extremely annoying to have to go through the bother and delete these messages. With Windows 98SE, I never once had this problem with Outlook Express, and I've been using Outlook Express with my hotmail for years.

Could someone please help me in this area? thanx.

Never seen this but not too familiar with using Hotmail in OE. Have you tried removing the account and putting it back in?

I have yet to seen OE not get double messages when checking hotmail.....it's done it on every computer I've worked with. So if you find out the answer please post it.
