receiver that fits 16" wide

I'm looking for a receiver for my new townhouse. I found the perfect shelf to mount on the wall below my plasma, the only problem is the shelves are only 16" wide (its a horizontal shelf).

Are there any receivers that will fit?

I'm mainly looking for a low end, surround sound system. It would be nice to be able to hook up my direct tv (HD) and xbox 360 through it.
