Received an echeck for payment, Paypal says 3 days to clear, need advice

Should I ship the item out tomorrow even though the funds are still waiting to be cleared? The person has no heat since he's not an AT member, and I dont really know him too well. Seems like a nice/good guy based off of the e-mails. The item is only $20 so I'm thinking yes, I will ship out.

well actually I will be gone until saturday night on a vacation type thing. so the soonest it will be shipped out is monday.

Unless the money has cleared, you don't technically have it yet. If you're willing to accept a potential 100% loss if you ship and the money doesn't actually come through, then ...good for you. Personally, I don't ship until the money's in my bank account, making exceptions at my discression and not often.
