Ok, i have the intel pro/100+ NIC and there is an advanced option for it.
This is what the advanced option looks like

802.1p QoS PAcker Tagging Disable or enable?
Coalesce Buffer- right now the value is set at 8 but should i change it?

Link Speed & Duplex auto detect
receive buffers the value is set at 48 but it can be changed
Transmit control Blocks the value is set at 32 but can be changed

What should i change each of these values to??

No, just leave everything at default. People claim that "tweaking" their NIC helps but come on...if you're running a 100BASE-T card on a network which supports the 100Mbps "FastEthernet" bandwidth, then why the hell do you need to tweak? And of course, the "tweak" does almost nothing to increase bandwidth.
