Received a college admissions letter

i sent out my app about a week ago and received a letter from admissions today. the letter says that i am currently being considered and my app will be reviewed individually by an admissions conselor. it does not say i am on a waiting list. by sending me this letter, are they implying that i am on a waiting list or i might not have the scores to be accepted? is it a normal to receive a letter from admissions telling you that you are currently being considered? i guess im kinda worried since this is the only college i applied for.

It's a test to see how you react. By posting this on ATOT they'll realize you're too dumb for college and will reject you.

u only applied to one school?

yeah. it's the only school i am interested in with my ACT/academic scores.

what will you do if you don't get in? always have a backup ... or four.

well... the new ACT scores are going to be up tommorow and depending on what i get, that will determine what colleges i will apply for. as you can probably guess, i am not a very academically smart. 🙁 also, the college i have already applied for is not very hard to get in. you could get a 20 and most likely get accepted.

uh, you need to apply to more schools, especially if you don't know if you're going to get into the one school you already applied to.

edit: "you could get a 20 and most likely get accepted?" dude, there's so much more to college applications than you think. good luck.

i know this. your extracirrculars, highschool rank, GPA, outside activities, recomendations, etc., etc. i'm just saying that this school accepts "average" kids. =
