I'm building a xeon system for a friend who is a freelance artist but the thing is, he needs receipts to write the computer off as a business expense. Would he have to make the purchases himself or could he use the receipts I get from the purchases? Also what would a receipt from using e-bay be? a screenCap?
Any advice would be helpful

Yes this is true, the likehood of any IRS tax agent looking up the company that a receipt is from is extremely unlikely. I say just make up a receipt.

RAIDeon computers... lol, thanks guys. googled a little and I guess nothing official seems necessary. Just needs to show who the money is going to and what it's paying for.
