Chicks really don't care about hair that much these days. Actually, I've heard several say that they like the shaved head, with a goatee.
Dat's what I got and the wife loves it. My hairline started receding years ago, then thinning. Finally one day, I just grabbed the shears and cut it down to no. 1 length. I then grew a goat. I like it. It's very low maintenance.

Shave your head, or cut it really short. Long hair looks stupid with a receding hairline. That guy from transporter has a receding hairline, he's still doing alright (except for that awful sequal). Anyways, if you shave your head, you should work out, so you dont look like a cancer patient. and a skin colour thats darker than pasty white is preferred.
Also, some people can not pull of a shaved head without looking stupid if they have a weird shaped head (dropped as a kid) or have weird wrinkles on their scalp (the shrinking head syndrome.) other than that, youre good to go!

I don't know what you can do about your hairline if it's receding. There are products to help thinning hair as well as hair loss at the crown of your head. I think it will be an issue with shallow women. I think you have a couple options- shave your head completely + pump up until you look like Mr. T (this is the solution I see most guys do), or become loaded beyond belief and buy the women you want. In the end though, IMO, women who care deeply about such things aren't worth having. It's not like they have the #s advantage. If you care deeply about appearance you may have problems. If you care about more substantial things, I don't think you will have a problem finding someone with the same values. my 2 cents
Shave it. I've been shaving my head for about 8 years now. I woke up one morning with a zit on the tip of my nose. I looked in the mirror and saw this guy with no hair on top of his head but with a lot on the sides and in the back and a big read nose in the middle of his face. "Oh sh!t, I look like Bozo the Clown!" So I got out the clippers and shaved it all off. Then I ran into the living room like a crazyman and freaked out the wife. Two weeks later after getting some sun on my newly shaved head, we both agreed that I should keep the new look.

I think its more devastating on self esteem if your a white guy going bald than a black guy. In the end really its about confidence and if you dont show weakness to others they will repsect you. If you show that you lack confidence and self esteem it will f%ck you up mentaly.
Word of advice.. Dont worry what others think about you. If you base your life on what others do or think you will never get anywhere.

what about an asian guy?
i'm white/korean and i dunno if the shaved look is good for me. i have a decent build but have zero facial hair (i think the slightly unshaven look compliments the shaved head look pretty well) and have a slender face (this doesn't really help the shaved look).
i'm a pretty confident person it's just that it troubles me sometimes if i really think about it. no matter how much confidence i have, someone with the same confidence but better hair will be able to get a lot more girls.

I'll have to agree with both statements
Just because you are losing your hair does not mean you are no longer attractive. I know guys with full heads of hair that are downright ugly and they have the personality of a bucket of dead fish.
Just as others have pointed out also. Dont do the cover-up, or the comb over. You arent fooling anyone but yourselves with that action and quite frankly it is almost always only good for a laugh
