Rec'd State Tax Refund already!

Filed Thursday morning (tele-file), and I found my refund direct deposited into my bank account this morning. Two day turnaround, not too shabby. I guess it does pay to file early (that is if you don't owe).

I'm freaking pissed. I paid $25 to get the state package for tax cut so that I could e-file and get my refund back. Well I owe $93. So I blew $25, since I could do it myself with snail mail. And they wanted $10 filing fee. HAHA. I have to pay $93, I'm not paying a damn e-file fee.

Well at least I got the federal off a couple days ago. Hopefully it won't take too long. Any idea how long it takes...?

Cool. Seems pretty short wait right now then.

If you did it online, you don't pay the fee if you choose not to e-file. The decision comes up at the very end of the process so you already know if you are going to owe or receive.
