Second all of them, might wanna look at the ex51, which are the same drivers as the ex71. Also the KSC50 and KSC55 supposedly use the same driver as the KSC75.

sony fontopia! my i-river earplugs are so bad and, they fall out when i run. i ordered the fontopia from newegg, should get it in 2 days.

My fiance just got Panasonic HJE-50. He likes them. I tried them in my MP3 player and they aren't bad. He's going to get me Sony earbuds, though, because I like more bass than he does.

Just got a pair of Sony MDR-EX51LPs. Bass is perfect, and overall sound is fantastic. My only gripe is that my ear canal is apparantly too small to fit easily. I have to really cram it into my right ear, but once it's in, I'm in bliss! I think they're only about $25.00.

Those are the ones Tim is getting me. I tried on his Panasonic HJE-50's tonight and my canal was a little small even for the smaller sized covers, but the sound was good. I hope the Sony's fit me e little better. I have a Creative Muvo2 MP3 player and he got me a different pair of Sony over the head earphones, but background noise bugs me. I'm now eager to get my new ones. 🙂

those look sweet. i had the koss's "the plug" for awhile, but the plug protectors are some sort of material that is hard to clean off and doesn't live very long, especially if you listen to your ipod a lot.

i'm going to look into those. thanks.

How are those even remotely what the OP is looking for? 😕

well it IS a pair of headphones...

but as for earbuds, nothing can beat the MDR-888

and oh if you DO want to buy a pair of koss, please make it either portapro or the KSC33

Good luck. I was going to ask if anybody made 'em smaller, but I doubt it. I use 100% aloe to lube mine before I shove 'em in. 🙂

No other type will do for me now. They've got to be in the ear or nothing.

How do you keep those from falling out during sports?

I thought the over-the-head Sony's he got me were just fine until I just tried his. He got them in the mail today and just tried them. I'll have to try the aloe if I have a problem with mine. He's "plugged in" right now and on his computer, but I told him that you have the Sony's and love them. 🙂 I'm charging my MP3 player right now. I'm trying to decide whether or not to take it with me to surgery tomorrow. I doubt I'll want to listen to anything on the way home. (Tim surprised me last Monday with a "new"--or new to us--Pathfinder. We still need to get a CD player for it, though.)

i used the cotton included and it fits my ear holes perfectly! not to mention they add more bass to the buds! =)

and yeah if its for sports, maybe one of those around the neck thing wou;d be best.

yeah i know they suck, but they won't fall off!

My friend brian has the Sony 51's and dosent like em... he said the bass isnt too solid and the highs are screechingly annoying... 🙁

Well, there's your answer... buy his! He ought to sell them pretty cheap, since he doesn't like them. I play classic rock on mine and the bass is tight & deep. I've heard that the bass may be too much if you listen to techno stuff.

BTW, I have to kick the highest highs up a bit for more crispness. I figured that's because of hearing loss in that range. To hear they are too screechy is a hoot!
