Reccomendations: Folder synchronaization tool?

Ameesh

Lifer
Hi guys I am looking for a *fast* folder synchronization tool.

I have and external USB Hard Drive and a File Server at home the drive can get taken to other locations and then comes back, there could be changes at both locations, do you guys know of a fast utility that can scan for changes and sync up both systems?

bonus points for someone who can find a program that can delete files from the usb hard drive but not from the file server

the program can compare the files on the last updated date (that is sufficient)

i am currently using a tool called unison it works fine other then it wont delete files period and its dog slow

comparing 200GB takes like 6 hours which is ridiculous.

Create a dos batch script and schedule it. Done.

we thought about running xcopy twice but that defintely wouldn't do the deletes nor would it give us a mechanisim to model the changes before we commited them, the later being more important then former.
