reccomendation for system

I am building a PIV 3.0Ghz system on an Intel D865GRH mainboard and would like to get recommendations for Ram.

I am leaning towards OCZ, but wanted to get opinions on the subject.

Would like to know brand and quantity you guys consider good. I will be running Windows XP.

Thanks.

Eh, i love my corsair.... Cas2, great overclocker... runs like a charm and is a great price. I actually got mine at the time for 107, when ram was cheap so i got a good deal, now this same stick is about 130 on zipzoomfly.com

Why did googlegear change their name? this new one is gay =\

Most people would buy OCZ for the overclocking, but you can't overclock intel boards can you?

From what I have read you can't over clock, but you can change the memory timings.

exactly...OCZ makes great RAM these days, but most people buy it for its OCing capabilities. you will never be able to OC wil a mobo built by intel. i'm assuming you're going to get a P4C (800mhz fsb) CPU? in which case all you need is some quality PC3200 memory. i see no problem going with OCZ just b/c they make great memory, but you might be able to find something cheaper from Kingston or Buffalo for PC3200 memory w/ cas2 timings. i'd take a look at all the major players for PC3200 cas2 memory, like Corsair, Crucial, and maybe even GeIL too...
