reccomend some good 2 player pc games

I was just thinking about the days of playing worms 2, doom 2, and duke nukem 3d over network at my friends house, and I realized ..."hey where did all the good 2 player games go?"

My girlfriend plays some games with me like civ 4, but most of the time she just watches. I really wanted to find some old or new games that we could play on the PC together, but couldnt really think of any except the generic RTS or diablo style mmo.

anyone have suggestions? (no FPS)

If you guys like RPGs, neverwinter nights is pretty good on MP, and theres a few expansions and tons of user made content.

I believe you can get it all for like $25 now.

Dungeon Siege 1 and 2, Baldur's Gate, Titan Quest, X-Men Legends 2, Marvel Ultimate Alliance. Can't think of anything else off the top of my head, PC is a sad platform for co-op, and there hasn't even been very many good console games since the 16-bit days.
