reccomend me hongkong/chinese movies for my blockbuster queue

I happen to like kungfu hustle, hero and house of flying daggers.. so what other movies should I see?

Movies that I have seen and liked: god of gamblers, crouching tiger hidden dragon, etc.

I like stephen chow movies too... what other movies of his are good?

You should get A Chinese Odyssey Part 1 (Pandora's Box) and 2 (Cinderella), also starting Stephen Chow. I love those 2 movies.

infernal affairs is decent.

The old school John Woo movies are classics. Some people might not like them as much now, because elements have been copied from those movies so much - its not as innovative as it once was. They were better in their heyday. The Killer, Hard Boiled. All John Woo/Chow Yun Fat collaborations - started the 2 gun trend and hong kong action.

Not a big fan of chinese movies because they are all the same, but I did really like Infernal Affairs (2 and 3 suck bad so don't get those).
