Hello,

After setting up my aquarius 3 watercooler and being very dissapointed with the results, I have decided to exchange it for another watercooling system. It was roughly $300, so I was wondering what can I get for $300? My case is a thermaltake xaser 3, so if you can find an internal cooler that would be better, I would be very satisfied. Thanks to anyone who can help, and those who have helped me before.

Also. What type of temperatures should I expecting with watercooling? I thought I should expect temperatures like 40-50F, am I mistaken?

Sorry for the bump, but I'm in a little rush to return this. Should I be expecting temps of 40-50F wiith watercooling? Or am is that expecting ntoo much? If it is then I will just fo back to standard aircooling.

Well, it appears that svc.com has theworst return policy ever, so returning it is now out of the question. What I would like to know now(if someone doesn mid helping me) is what are the best parts I can buy to increase the performance. I.E. Tubes, waterblock. etc. I'm fairly new to watercooling, so any info will be helpful.

That system should be doing a good job for you... have you set everything up properly, especially using thermal paste to make sure the waterblock is mounted properly? Also, have you tried mixing a 20% alcohol/80% water solution? It will help cool and also prevent nasty growths inside the WC system...

I'll try to help, can you give me a link to the watercooling system you bought with its specs so I can see what the weakest component is?

Edit: BTW with this system that is about what you should expect, although it will scale better than most systems. (Meaning you can overclock more without gaining much more heat)

However if you had gotten a better WC system the results should be high 30 low 40.
