Reccomend a USB memory key that is also bootable

I saw an article on CNET the other day about bootable memory keys, apparently these have been out for some time now and I missed them.

I'd like to pick one up to help in my transition to a Floppy Free PC.

Any suggestions on brand? USB2.0 isn't a big deal, I'll probably get a smallish one because I have a Sandiskflash reader + cards for big stuff.

I have an Asus A7V mainboard, I'm assuming it'll boot from the key?

hmm Im interested in this too I didn't relize they were bootable.... I'd think the a USB drive is a bit more stable then a floppy =)

i was thinking all of them are bootable as long as your bios supports it? or am i mistaken? i got some no name 64mb usb drive from fry's for 14.99 and i put my boot files on it and i set the option to boot from USB in bios and it works fine~.

Do any of them make a better unplug tool than the little eject icon that windows puts in the system tray ? I hate the extra confirmation/stop step.

Yeah I hate my zip drive for that one reason lol. Does tyhis mean I would have 2 of the unplugg icons or would there just be that one cause then there would be no loss to me for having one of these. =)

You could always make bootable cd's. I've been floppy free for the past 3 years and I've never looked back. What I have found currently I haven't actually ever used anything to boot besides my hard disc or a windows cd.

I have a A7N8X Dlx which I like to update to the newest or best bios on its release which they seem to do alot so I end up flashing it alot. and I hate carring CD's around so I pen drive would be a fun toy =)

the a7n8x dlx doesn't have bootable usb tho.. not mine anyway.

and as for using CD's... you get stuck w/ the fact if you dont' have an image lying around, you still need a floppy to make one (unless someone can point me to a direct link for a floppy image.. or how to make one for nero...)
