At least for lifer and above, can we disable this crap, please? I was reading, posting, hit "back" to go back to the index page, BOOM, reCAPTCHA.
Hit reload, go back again, type in forums.anandtech.com into browser, get hit with three in a row!
It's not like I'm on a VPN, I'm on a residential FIOS connection, whos IP address tends to be VERY "sticky".
I was about ready to leave and never come back. Unless, that's what they want?
My thead in the CPUs sub-forum that I started, fairly contentious, simply pointing out that a front-page AT article has written proof that Intel die-harvests. Last I checked, it had over 5000 views. Assuming that AT makes $0.01 a view, I just contributed my time to make them $50. (Chances are, the value is more, but I don't know the going rate for ads these days.)
(Edit: Not trying to say all of the posts in the thread were directly the result of me, it is a forum community after all, only that the overall thread was my idea.

I watch, and it seems like fewer and fewer people that used to be regular fixtures in the tech forums, are just simply not showing up anymore. I wonder how much of that is because they CANT, because of "white screen" and "reCAPTCHA" crap going on.
