Recalled Firestone Tires: What's your choice for replacement?

Just wanted to see what everyone is using in place of their recalled Firestone pieces of sh!t, er I mean tires. I have a '97 Explorer V8 and went with Dunlop Sport Rover GTXII's size 255/70-15. They have a stiffer carcass and a more street oriented tread (but they are M+S rated). Also, for anyone in the SE CT area, PM me about which tire installer to avoid like the plague.

What are tires? Do you really need them for driving?

i run goodyear or bf goodrich. Never had a bad tire. This was on a 82' K5 Blazer and now on a 94' K5 Blazer

Note to self, if ever driving in Tampa, Florida, look out for a vehicle WITHOUT TIRES! Yakko will be driving, tee he he.
