"Out of every dollar that funds Wisconsin’ s pension and health insurance plans for state workers, 100 cents comes from the state workers."

Where does the money come from to pay state workers?

Both the state workers salaries and pension contributions are paid from tax payer money.

If you want to argue semantics, go ahead and argue semantics. If you want to claim "Right wing lies exposed" you better actually do it, not just half-ass it and hope people take your word for it.

Are you seriously not understanding why you are incapable of convincing people to embrace and love unions?

The oil thugs Koch brothers along with America haters like Mark Levin are throwing everything they have behind Walker

Money flows into Wisconsin governor recall fight

A $700,000 advertising campaign sponsored by Americans for Prosperity (AFP), a foundation funded by conservative billionaire brothers Charles and David Koch of oil and gas conglomerate Koch Industries, hit the Wisconsin airwaves, the latest phase of its "Stand with Walker" campaign.

His donors include leading conservative funders like Houston homebuilder Bob Perry, a major donor to presidential SuperPacs and a fund to elect conservatives to Congress, who thus far has given $500,000 to the Walker recall fight.

Hedge fund founder Bruce Kovner, a former chairman of the American Enterprise Institute, kicked in $100,000 and Trevor Rees-Jones, chief executive of Dallas-based Chief Oil & Gas, also gave $100,000.

Not a bad article, but they kinda forgot to mention all the big union money pouring into the state. I'm sure it was just an oversight. Good to see the tea party involvement, from the posters here in the forums you'd think it doesn't exist anymore.

To defend Walker, Tea Party activists cranked up a grassroots campaign. The number of Tea Party groups in the state doubled to 140 in 2011, part of a strategy to cover the entire state and boost conservative voter turnout.

"This year is going to be like last year on steroids," said Tim Dake of Wisconsin Grandsons of Liberty, a Tea Party group.

Tea Party groups and the state Republican Party have separate initiatives to independently verify signatures on the petition, which could take months. Nearly 11,000 volunteers have signed up for the Tea Party groups' online effort to cross-check the names against public records more quickly.

"Whether you like it not, Wisconsin law allows for recalls," said Ross Brown of We the People of the Republic, a Tea Party group. "Even though we may not find enough problems to challenge the recall, we want to bring integrity to the process."

Activists like Bonnie Ketterhagen of newly-formed Tea Party group, We Vote Burlington, say that once a vote is set she and others will get out the voters.

Just keeping your analysis in check ;)

While it is generally true the Koch brothers should be despised, the fact that they seem to irritate you, brings a little joy to my day :p

Walker proclaims controversial law is working

"You've literally had tens of millions of dollars of savings all throughout the state just by allowing, through our reforms, by allowing school districts to bid out their health insurance," he said.

"The law is working," he said he was able to close a $3.6 billion budget gap without tax increases, massive layoffs, or cuts to Medicaid because of the legislation.

His campaign and allied groups have already spent more than $7 million on his effort to keep his job, but Walker expects to spend less than his opponents.

"I think I'll be woefully outspent," Walker said in explaining why he believes the recall election will be tougher to win than his 2010 race. "So, in terms of being confident, I'm cautiously optimistic. The reason for caution is if we're able to break through the money gap and get our message out to compete with all this money from out of state interests, then I think we can win."

"No. 1 reason there is going to be a change in the presidency is because of how people feel about the economy"

Walker went on to say that he thought the eventual Republican nominee will have a lot of work to do to win Wisconsin in November, but that
he expects it to be more competitive than it was in 2008, when Barack Obama won the state with 56 percent of the vote.

Is the recall going to determine a replacement, or will the state wallow around until a new election?

Looking at the info provide; a full blown primary will be done for the Dems and assuming no one challenges Walker on the Republicans; he gets to build up a campaign and learn about/from the Dem contenders

The forgeries that Judge Mac Davis ordered GAB to remove. Those forgeries... oh it wasn't an honest question it was just another blatant example of yours that it's OK to lie on these forums.

Are you talking about forgeries, or invalid signatures?

If you read the link i provided it says Walker is fighting the Recall so then he must have accepted the Million+ signatures on his Recall.

That is correct with one caveat now he can't collect unlimited Koch bros finances for his recall election now.

Where is the information on financial limitation? Did not see it in the Recall Instructions/procedure PDF.

Are the funds for all sides then limited to instate only?

I posted your answer above.

You posted that Walker has seen that the number of signatures collected by the Democrats and unions is too many that even with the forgeries and invalid signatures he won't be able to stop the recall.
You posted something like: whut furgeries?

Make sure you parse it with a fine knife. All forgeries are invalid signatures, but not all invalid signatures are forgeries. Dance, dance, dance.

Yes, forging signatures on those petitions is a crime and in some cases a felony. Putting down a signature that is invalid but not a forgery is generally not punishable at all. I think that 'parsing' between felony activity and non-felony activity is a pretty important thing to do.

He's not fighting any of the signatures according to my link.
