So my PSU died a couple days ago and my current build is 3+ years old so I decided it was time to upgrade. I plan on reusing my cd-rom, floppy, and sound card. My price range is around $500-600.

Here is the link to the list of new hardware I plan on using to rebuild on newegg.com: http://secure.newegg.com/WishL...WishListNumber=9976552 .

I was just looking for input to make sure I was making the best decision for what hardware to buy. Any input would be appreciated.

Looks good overall, just out of curiosity are you planning on using the stock CPU heatsink? If you are not planning on overclocking and doing light tasks, the stock cooler will do fine. Just noticed there wasn't an aftermarket cooler.

Your parts list looks very good. Good overall choices.

Yea I don't plan on overclocking. Maybe a year or two down the road and I would buy an aftermarket cooler at that point.

Look at the Asus 4870 512MB in the same price range.
Check out a WD 640GB blue or black
I'd also recommend the corsair 550 or 650tx, or 520hx (modular) PSU.
