First of all, yup, its dusty. I'm going to be cleaning it tomorrow as my parts arrive.

I will be parting out what you see in side into a new cheap case and selling it to my brother-in-law. Yay. I'm keeping the fan controllers and the enermax card reader as well as the Audigy 2ZS.

What I'm wondering is what is going to be the best airflow configuration for this case given the amount of fans I have? (4 in front, 2 on top, 5 in the back)

Also, any other suggestions would be great.

Thanks.

I haven't used the Mountain Mods UFO case (I think it's too big and ugly personally), but the general idea is to have semi-equal intake an exhaust. Also, you want to flow air THROUGH your case, not in and out at all directions.

Your best bet would probably be to dedicate the front fans for intakes, use the rear for exhaust, and do a quick 1-hour test with the top fans as exhaust, then as intake (and see if there's a change). Try to use your exhaust fans in hot areas, and your intake fans in cooler areas. You want the air in the case to start out cool, and you want the hot air to be removed as quickly as possible.

Man, its amazing what a good dusting will do... my heat sink had dust literally caked to it... and I figured out the problem... my case fan air filters were on improperly... for the past 4 years.
