Hardware:
3700+ stock
Vista Ultimate
2 gig DDR 400
Foxconn 6150BK8MC
using onboard DVI vid output

After the build a month ago I had everything running fine in my room and then I moved it out to my tv room and then the trouble started. It booted up first time and then turned itself off and didn't do anything after power cycling. Now a week later it turns on, but this time it is randomly restarting. I thought it might be temp related so I dled speedfan and checked it out. Well, I have two temp 1 readings. One is on the IT8712F-1 chip and its running a cool 50 C, the other is on the ACPI chip and it is running at 40C. The CPU is running at 27C. Any ideas? Nothing is overclocked so that isn't the problem. Bad mobo? Is it the nice looking vista giving me issues?

Re-seat the CPU HSF, and all the cards - Video, PCI etc.

Check all the SATA/IDE/power connectors, too.

Something must have come loose...

Good luck!

Well after almost 5 hours of transferring my music from my main computer to this one it seems to be running fine. It's my htpc that I am running into these issues so I'll see what happens once it's done transferring my music to it (estimated transfer time was 8.5 hours). Once it's done I'll take it out of my equiment stack and doublecheck all the connections and reseat stuff. Thanks for the help!
