I just received my new Asus A7N266-VM/AA and
Zalman CNPS3100+ heatsink to replace my Albatron that died, something with the bios chip. anyway i installed everything and when i boot up the bios has no errors, and i get to windows and it asks if i want to boot up normally (its xp btw) or safe mode or last known config.. etc. i tried pretty much every choice, and i press enter and i hear my hard drive work a little and then the computer reboots
can anyone please suggest on what i can do to solve this. thanks

i just updated the bios to the latest ver 107, and it still does the same thing

Maybe it wasnt your mobo's fault it was your processors. Is your computer o/c'd? Try underclocking it and lowering your ram timings.

i tried another hard drive and the same thing happens, reboots right before the windows logo

in bios, under boot menu: Interrupt Mode, i switched it from APIC to PIC, and now instead of rebooting it just freezes at the windows menu where it asks if i want to normally boot.

no its not oc'd im using all default bios settings
