As the title says, my PC almost always reboots whenever I copy any large files(150+ MB) from my CD drives. This occurs when installing anything large as well.
I have:
ABIT KT-7A
Athlon 1Ghz
old IBM HD 8 Gigs
SB Live!
128 MB Ram of unknown brand
Windows XP Proffesional
HD is master on IDE 0
Sony 8x CD master on IDE 1
4x4x32 CD-RW slave on IDE 1
Pretty sure this has very little to do with the PSU because my PC is very stable aside from this problem. Also, when running Win2k I tried to use the VIA 4-in-1 drivers which also produced this very problem. Without the drivers, I could copy anything I wanted to, but the PC ran much slower.
Any ideas?
