I had a freeze using my computer the other day (Windows 2000, I like the speed) and had to reboot using the hardware switch. I had my Sandisk U3 Cruzer 512 MB (yes, buying a new drive soon anyways) in at the time, and after the reboot it has been giving me trouble. I have got it to work on the same computer again (and backed up everything that I hadn't already, thankfully), but I can't get it to work on XP machines. I thought I read once that maybe this phenomenon exists regarding Windows 2000 (or all recent iterations of Windows?) when rebooting when the drive is in? Although the problem appears to be related to the drive powering up (the light won't stay on on Win XP machines), and there have been some troubles in the past of using the right USB port with this drive to power it up, I thought I'd see if anyone knew anything about this.
