system:
AMD 2100+ running 1.7GHz
512MB DDR 2700
Leadtek A310 TD 256MB

I have a clean Windows XP installation with SP1 and all of the fixes installed, now I have a problem, my computer just reboots itself whenever I try to play a game for 5 minutes or try to install a game for that matter.

Now I have a 350W power supply and I don't think that its the issue since I have used it for the past half year. It all poped up when I reinstalled Windows XP. Im lost.

its ONLY when you go to play a game? do the games need to CD in the drive to play?
it could be the board or your ram , i doubt its your power supply

Could also be CPU overheating, what are your temps?

If CPU was retail, did you use the supplied thermal pad? (they can dry out)

May try reseating HSF with some artic silver 3, or equivalent.
